Fall’s Favorite Porridge

Fall is in full swing, and what better way to enjoy the season than warming up with a signature soup at our Bellevue Korean Restaurant? Soups, teas, and hot pots are just the beginning of a wide selection of seasonal favorites from Seoul Hot Pot.

One favorite autumn recipe in Korea is pumpkin porridge, a salted and sweetened rice porridge. Not too sweet and not too bland, this is a great way to celebrate the transition into fall.

There are over 40 traditional Korean rice porridges, called juk. Made with a variety of mild ingredients, these porridges are most commonly enjoyed beside more flavorful dishes such as kimchi or other entrees.
